Hiker Airlifted To Hospital In Critical Condition

ANGELES CREST, CA — Los Angeles County Fire Department airlifted an unconscious hiker, discovered on an Angeles Crest Highway Trail on Sunday, according to dispatch.

The fallen hiker was reported late Sunday, and was flown by helicopter to the Huntington Memorial Hospital, LACFD dispatch said.

Members of the Montrose Search and Rescue team assisted a group of uninjured hikers, who reported the unconscious victim, out of the canyon.
