A burglary removed a screen and shattered the glass on the rear door of a home in the 1100 block of Encino Avenue on Monday but the resident's alarm went off and the suspect likely left the scene without getting inside the home, according to Lt. Mike Castro of the Arcadia Police Department.
No loss was reported in the case. The glass was broken some time between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Monday, Castro said.
