LA County Sheriff's Warn of Gas Station Skimming Devices Found

Investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Temple City station, which patrols nearby unincorporated areas and Temple City, is warning residents in the area to check their bank records for fraudulent activity after discovering some credit card skimming devices at a gas station.
Deputies seized two of the devices from two separate gas pumps in August at the Mobil gas station located at 5319 Baldwin Ave., according to a news release.
Patrons of the gas station in recent months should review their bank accounts and credit reports for unauthorized or fraudulent use of debit or credit cards, authorities said. Customers who find such information should contact their banks immediately.
