Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Appointments Announced

Gov. Jerry Brown announced six Los Angeles Superior Court Judges and three Orange County Superior Court Judges on Friday.

ARCADIA, CA — Six people were appointed by Gov. Jerry Brown Friday to serve as Los Angeles Superior Court judges, while three people were appointed to the Orange County Superior Court bench.

All of the appointees are Democrats.

Judges earn $191,612 a year.

The Los Angeles County appointees are:
-- Firdaus F. Dordi, 46, of Los Angeles, a partner, cofounder and attorney at Dordi, Williams, Cohen;
-- Mark H. Epstein, 57, of Los Angeles, a partner at Munger, Tolles and Olson since 1993;
-- Ruben N. Garcia, 48, of Monrovia, a Los Angeles County deputy public defender since 1995;
-- Gary I. Micon, 59, of Simi Valley, a lead appellate attorney at the Second District Court of Appeal since 2014;
-- Kevin S. Rosenberg, 47, of Los Angeles, a former federal prosecutor and attorney at Lowenstein and Weatherwax since 2014; and
-- P. Tamu Usher, 47, of Altadena, a Los Angeles County deputy district attorney since 1999.

In Orange County, Brown appointed:
-- Bradley S. Erdosi, 42, of Laguna Hills, a former public defender who has run his own firm since 2006;
-- Richard E. Pacheco, 60, of Laguna Beach, an Orange County Superior Court commissioner since 2001; and
-- Michael J. Strickroth, 63, of Mission Viejo, a partner at Kutak Rock since 2014.
