Photo Spotlight: Remember Arcadia PD's Jail Wagon?
Police say this multi-purpose vehicle served many purposes for local law enforcement.
The Arcadia Police Department posted this image of it's old jail "wagon" on Facebook Thursday and waxed nostalgic on the varied ways that the vehicle was deployed in the 1980s and 90s.

APD had two of these in service back then. One was later converted into a logistics vehicle for our SWAT Team. Officers worked as jailers and even drove the Wagon on patrol...yes, they were used in a few pursuits and were often mistaken for an ambulance.
