Called Tabebuia impetiginosa, the tree is more commonly known by its English name, the Trumpet tree.
Tabebuia impetiginosa is from the Trumpet-vine family and native to Northern Mexico and Argentina, among other Latin American countries. These trees also line Arcadia's most picturesque streets.

The tree in this photograph is particularly special; it's a hybrid of pink and yellow Tabebuia impetiginosa.
