Why not support disadvantaged children and families…all for the reduced cost of a bright smile that makes a difference for others.

Okay, so last Friday, March 1, our 21st Smiles for Life campaign began; and (as always) it’s a slam-dunk win-win opportunity. Why not support seriously sick, disabled, or otherwise disadvantaged children and families…all for the reduced cost of a healthy new whiter, brighter SoCal smile?

And who wouldn't want to associate with dedicated sponsors like Crown Council and Ultradent Products. The Crown Council's members happen to be some of the most progressive and community-minded dental professionals in the land. And Ultradent, aside from being an uber community committed business, also provides THE very best teeth-whitening product in the business.

And there's more: Smiles for Life has generated over $37 million in proceeds during its 21-years…and ALL funds have been used to make a difference for children and families who could use a helping hand. Smiles for Life will run through the end of June.

And, we have a local partner/recipient.

Two years ago, a speaker sharing a 25-second Pasadena Chamber "commercial" moved Scheduling Coordinator Denise to tears. At the time, Denise was also steering our November marketing campaign; in the middle of the campaign, we entertained a visitor. We had lunch with Nancy Davidson, Executive Director of The Foundation for Living Beauty; and I don't think any of us have been quite the same.

Living Beauty was founded in 2005; the Pasadena organization provides emotional and physical support for women who have cancer. Nancy shared Living Beauty serves more than 450 women who are in various aspects of their "journey" with cancer. Nancy and her three-woman team organize and provide events, support groups, and resources; within about 5-minutes of meeting Nancy in our office, we knew we wanted to be one of those resources.

But what could we do? How could we help? We adopted five families for Christmas. We committed to Living Beauty for Smiles for Life. Today, we also provide complimentary Invisalign care for one Living Beauty member each quarter.

We hope you’ll join us this year and walk away with the kind of smile that’s inside-out indelible when you know you made a difference for someone you might never even meet.

By the way, if we break our all-time Smiles for Life record and raise over $20,500…I will indeed don the UCLA powder puff blue and gold from head-to-toe for TWO solid weeks. When we hit $10,250, I’m down for a powder puff week.

Please call us at 626/285-3161 and ask us about Smiles for Life.
