Storm Knocks Out Power To Customers in Arcadia

Southern California Edison is working to restore power to Arcadia custimers after the storm knocked out the electricity early Tuesday.

ARCADIA, CA — The wind and rain knocked out power to hundreds of customers in the Arcadia area and adjacent cities.

At about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning amid heavy wind and downpours, about 21 customers in Arcadia lost power. Southern California Edison officials said they are aware of the problem and are working to restore power to the region. However, the company did not give an estimate of the time the power would be restored.

In all, about 6,500 people around the county are without electricity due to the storm.
