Stronach Group Gets New Vice President

The corporation that runs Santa Anita Park and Florida's Gulfstream Park, among several other racing-related companies, has hired a new senior vice president.

Tom Ludt, the president of Vinery Farms and chairman of Breeders’ Cup Ltd., will relocate to Arcadia for his new position with the Stronach Group, Ludt told the Daily Racing Form.

Ludt is charged with creating "a better environment at the company’s racetracks for both horseplayers and horsemen," the Daily Racing Form reported.
