Donald Trump Called Out by Gloria Allred on Employee Non-Disclosure Clauses

Donald Trump is far from a beloved employer, according to attorney Gloria Allred. The famed feminist lawyer stated on Monday that she has been contacted by women who allege they were sexually harassed or abused by Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

"In addition, in a lawsuit against him and Trump National Golf Club in Ranchos Palos Verdes, California, some employees alleged that they lost employment opportunities if they were not considered attractive or young enough to work in the restaurant in Mr. Trump's golf course," Allred said in a release from Oct. 4.

Allred, whose specialty is civil rights cases, particularly those involving the protection of women's rights, said the contacts came both before and after the release on Friday of 2005 "Access Hollywood" video footage in which Trump bragged about groping women.

"I call on Donald Trump to release all of his employees and former employees from their non-disclosure clauses so that they can tell the public what they suffered when they had the unfortunate experience of working for Donald Trump," she stated in the release. "I urge him to promise not to retaliate against them if they tell the truth."

Citing attorney-client privilege, Allred declined to talk about the details of the conversations. She also said she could not disclose how many women have contacted her.

"That's about all I can say for now, and we'll have to wait and see what happens next," Allred told City News Service.

The Los Angeles-based lawyer said Trump once told her that she "would be very, very impressed" with the size of his penis.

"What would impress me would be having Hillary Rodham Clinton in the White House," she stated. "Not a man who blatantly denigrates women in the workplace."
