2 Nearby DMV Offices Now Open At 7 A.M. Most Days

BERKELEY, CA — Going to the DMV office fuels nightmares for some people of long lines, hours-long waits and mounting frustration. The DMV hears you and is now opening the El Cerrito and Oakland-Claremont offices at 7 a.m. four days a week to allow you to check that errand off your to-do list before you even get to work. Only on Wednesday will the offices continue to open at 9 a.m.

One other East Bay office will observe the new 7 a.m. opening, and that's in Fremont if you work down there.
