Art and Music will Partner in Planned Parenthood Fundraiser

Roger Morgan, fine artist and Shirley Kirsten, Classical pianist will collaborate on behalf of Planned Parenthood

Roger Morgan, fine artist, will put his art work on display to the accompaniment of Shirley Kirsten's Classical piano music on Saturday, September 16th, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event will benefit Planned Parenthood (PP) with all proceeds going to the nonprofit organization. For a donation of $20 to PP, one FREE painting can be selected.

Morgan obtained his Bach. of Arts, and Master of Arts Degrees in Painting from UC Berkeley. Prior to his art studies at CAL he was a longstanding Kindergarten teacher. Currently, Roger is the co-landlord of 1607 Hopkins Street (cross Street, McGee), Berkeley, CA 94707, where the event will be held, in front of the garage. (It's just a block away from the Monterey Market.)

Kirsten, pianist, is a grad of the NYC H.S. of Performing Arts, Oberlin Conservatory and NYU. She will offer the works of J.S. Bach, Mozart, Chopin, and Schumann. An ex-New Yorker, Shirley Kirsten relocated to Berkeley in 2012.
