Berkeley Police Department Supports LGBTQ Pride Month
All employees, sworn and professional staff, may again optionally wear a Pride lapel pin, either on their uniform, or their plainclothes.

Berkeley, California (Tuesday, June 01, 2021) - Across our nation, the month of June is officially recognized as national LGBTQ Pride month, a time to recognize and support the LGBTQ community. This year, we will again affirm the Berkeley Police Department's commitment to, and support of, the LGBTQ community within our city, and within our Department, in accordance with our dedication to safeguarding our diverse community, and treating all with dignity and respect.
