Berkeley Workshop Scheduled For SunShares

BERKELEY, CA — If you are interested in installing solar at your home, a workshop will be held in Berkeley next month to explain SunShares, a renewable energy program that offers discounts on installing residential solar, and buying or leasing an electric vehicle.

The one-hour workshop that explains how SunShares works, the basics of solar technology, financing and incentives, the benefits of electrifying the whole home and how to access the discounts.

According to organizers, solar providers will be on hand to discuss their products and answer any questions you may have.

The Berkeley SunShares Workshop will be held on Oct. 2, starting at 6 p.m. at the South Berkeley Senior Center, located at 2939 Ellis St. Free registration
