Bicyclist, Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Colliding

A bicyclist struck a pedestrian late Saturday near the UC Berkeley campus, leaving both seriously injured, police said.

BERKELEY, CA — A bicyclist struck a pedestrian late Saturday afternoon near the intersection of Hearst and Euclid Avenues adjacent to the UC Berkeley campus, leaving both seriously injured, Berkeley police said.

The accident was reported shortly before 5 p.m. Saturday, police said.

The two streets were reopened through the area about 8 p.m., police said.
