Cal Alum Mychal Kendricks Earns Super Bowl Ring

The linebacker had four tackles in the game.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Cal alum Mychal Kendricks earned a Super Bowl ring Sunday when the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New England Patriots, 41-33, in Super Bowl LII.

The linebacker was on the starting roster and notched four tackles in the game.

Former Cal wide receiver Bryce Treggs was a member of Philadelphia's practice squad.

According to Associate Athletic Communications Director Kyle McRae, "Cal has had at least one player on a Super Bowl roster in 17 of the last 18 years and each of the last five. Prior to Super Bowl LII, C.J. Anderson was the last former Cal player to be on a winning team for the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50."
