Free Ice Cream In Berkeley
Humphry Slocombe will give out free samples in anticipation of opening a shop in Berkeley.

BERKELEY, CA — Have you tried Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream with wild flavors like Blue Bottle Vietnamese Coffee, Matchadoodle, and Blueberry Boy Bait?
The ice cream shop started by Jake Godby and Sean Vahey in San Francisco in 2008 has already expanded to Oakland and Los Angeles. Next up: Berkeley. The shop will be located at 2948 College Ave. We're still awaiting an opening date.
On Friday, March 8 you can go to cocktail bar Prizefighter from 6 to 10 p.m. to try the signature Secret Breakfast (bourbon ice cream with cornflakes) along with SF Beer Week collaboration flavors from all your favorite Bay Area breweries. All flavors are available for purchase.

Can't make it? Next Friday, March 15, Humphry Slocombe will be giving away free scoops, with pints available for purchase at both Berkeley Bowl locations. From noon to 2 p.m. stop by the Main location (2020 Oregon St.) or visit the West location (920 Heinz Ave.) from 3 to 6 p.m. Flavors include the previously mentioned Blue Bottle Vietnamese Coffee, Matchadoodle, Blueberry Boy Bait, and more.
