Haute Trash is a troupe of resourceful artists who produce runway fashion shows featuring haute couture made from society’s trash. They create and produce performance art of the highest professional quality and perform it before the broadest possible audience. They create fashion out of trash in order to entertain,educate and empower others to think,reuse and recycle.
On August 10th, Haute Trash is partnering with the Ecology Center in Berkeley to present a fantastic trash fashion photo booth! They will have all kinds of hats and trashy garments to dress up in for your “Haute Trash Selfie”!
The event runs from 10 to 3 at Civic Center Park in Berkeley. There’ll be salsa dancing and lessons, salsa tastings and competitions, food demos, an kids eco fun zone, and much much more! Come out and enjoy a fun Saturday in the East Bay, and support the Ecology Center!
