Have You Seen This Man? UC Police Want to Know
Police at the University of California at Berkeley on Wednesday issued a photo and description of a man they say is likely the person seen prowling campus buildings and who may be responsible for thefts. Anyone who sees him is asked to tell police.

The unidentified man is "likely the subject who has been reported prowling inside buildings on the north side of the UC Berkeley campus on multiple occasions since August of this year," police said.
The alert added:
The subject is often described as wandering hallways with his mobile telephone at his ear, possibly pretending to be engaged in a conversation while looking for opportunities to enter unsecured offices and labs.Â
The subject may be responsible for the theft of laptop computers and other personal property. Â
