Man Killed By Falling Tree In Berkeley: Online Fundraiser

The fund set a goal of raising $15,000.

BERKELEY, CA — A fundraiser is underway following the death last weekend of 32-year-old Alexander Grant of Novato, who died when a huge eucalyptus tree fell on his car on the UC Berkeley campus.

The Go Fund Me page says, in part, "For those of you who didn’t know him, above all else he was a kind man who made every person he met feel heard."

"In light of this horrible accident we are asking for your help and support in assisting Linh with the financial responsibilities she will be facing in the months to come," the site continues. "Everything counts and anything helps."
