Michael Lewis’ Daughter Among 2 Killed In Crash: Report

BERKELEY, CA — The daughter of renowned author Michael Lewis was among two recent Berkeley High School graduates killed Tuesday afternoon in a head-on crash near Truckee, Berkeleyside reports.

Dixie Lewis, 19, and Ross Schultz, 20, both died from the impact of the collision on Highway 89 according to the report, which cites the California Highway Patrol. The crash was reported at 3:20 p.m. and both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Both were student-athletes, according to the report.

Lewis, who planned to major in neuroscience, continued her softball career at Pomona College, where she recently concluded her freshman year.

Schultz, a kinesiology major who just concluded his sophomore year at Cal State Pomona, played on BHS’ two-time North Coast Section championship soccer team.
