No One Injured After Shots Fired In Berkeley

Officers were dispatched to Seventh Street, where they found an abandoned vehicle and bullet casings.

BERKELEY, CA — No one was injured Saturday night in Berkeley when gunshots were fired along Seventh Street, a police lieutenant said. Multiple people called just before 9 p.m. to report the gunshots in the 2400 block of Seventh Street near Channing Way, Lt. Spencer Fomby said.

Officers went there and found an abandoned vehicle and bullet casings. Officers are investigating how the vehicle is tied to the shooting, Fomby said.

Two shootings were reported last week on Friday in the same area of the city. One wounded a 15-year-old boy. Those shootings and this latest one occurred in District 2.
