Not Everyone Loves New La Loma Pathway

On Wednesday, we posted a brief item about a . The article we cited in Bay Nature was celebratory about the new La Loma Path and the city's network of 140 walkways linking streets and parks. 

Not everyone thinks the paths are swell. A website called Berkeley Path Network is devoted to documenting the shortcomings of the paths and their supporters. On Thursday, the website posted a critique of the craftsmanship that went into the La Loma path, complete with pictures of mismatched handrails and exposed rebar. It's the newest entry on the site's list of "pathetic paths."
