People's Park Assault Probed: UC Berkeley Police

BERKELEY, CA — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in the investigation of an aggravated assault Sunday evening at People’s Park, the UC Berkeley Police Department said.
The suspect in this case is at large according to police.
His victim suffered minor injuries, police said.

At around 5:25 p.m. the suspect tried to attack the victim with a cooking implement, and then after the it was knocked out of his hands the suspect proceeded to punch the victim with his fist multiple times, police said.
