UC Berkeley's Cherry Tree Project Dedication Ceremony This Saturday
A dedication ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 6 starting at 11 a.m. at UC Berkeley's West Circle where 40 flowering cherry trees sit.
About 40 flowering cherry trees were planted at UC Berkeley's West Circle in honor of school alumni of Japanese ancestry.
A dedication ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 6 starting at 11 a.m. at the site.
Preperation for the project began June 2, 2011 and planting was completed about a year ago.
