UC Berkeley Taps Koshland For Interim Executive Role

BERKELEY, CA — A current UC Berkeley administrator has been tapped for interim executive role.

UC Berkeley Vice Chancellor for Undergraduate Education Catherine Koshland will serve as interim executive vice chancellor and provost, Berkeley News, the school’s official news site reports.

Koshland, a longtime student advocate, takes over for Paul Alivisatos while the school conducts a nationwide search for a permanent replacement, Chancellor Carol Christ said in a statement Tuesday.
