Woman Found Dead On Berkeley Sidewalk Identified

BERKELEY, CA — A woman was found dead Monday afternoon on a Berkeley sidewalk, police said.

Someone called police at 2:38 p.m. Monday when they found 51-year-old Berkeley woman Lisa Blowers unresponsive near Woolsey Street and Telegraph Avenue.

Sgt. Andrew Frankel said Blowers was pronounced dead shortly after police and firefighters arrived at the scene.

Frankel said the death was not suspicious.
