Woman Killed In Christmas Crash On I-80 IDd
The fiery, multi-vehicle crash happened in Berkeley near Gilman Street. Zakiya Oliver was just 25-years-old.
BERKELEY, CA — A woman who was killed in a fiery, multi-car collision on Interstate Highway 80 in Berkeley on Christmas morning was identified by the Alameda County coroner's bureau on Thursday as 25-year-old Zakiya Oliver of Vallejo.
The collision occurred in the westbound lanes I-80 just east of the Gilman Street exit at about 5:22 a.m. on December 25, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Multiple lanes of westbound I-80 were blocked and traffic was backed up for a few miles before all lanes were reopened several hours after the collision.
