Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills Launches Lunar New Year Tea Menu

Limited time menu includes decadent Chinese inspired dishes

The Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, in partnership with TEALEAVES, is now serving a limited time “Lunar New Year Tea” menu.

Served throughout the month of February from 2 to 5 p.m., the new tea menu includes savory and sweet Chinese inspired dishes including duck confit lunar dumplings with smoked duck and five spice; baby short ribs with glazed honey, soy sauce and lemon grass served with steamed buns; shrimp egg rolls with shrimp, brick dough and sweet and sour sauce, samosas and dim sum with mushrooms, crab and spicy chicken; Chinese egg tartlets; orange almond tofu and cheesecake.

Diners can choose from a variety of teas on the Waldorf’s tea list including English Breakfast, Earl Grey, their own Waldorf Astoria blend, or try a special Jasmine Pearl, Vanilla Rooibois or other blend from an assortment of TEALEAVES teas. Additionally, for an extra charge tea lovers can also indulge in a glass of Veuve Clicquot brut champagne. Non-alcoholic beverages include a passion fruit cooler with passion fruit, red Thai chili and soda and a ginger lime soda.

The afternoon tea is served in the elegant lobby in front of a soothing fire with comfy banquets, sofas and chairs and tables.
