Belmont Village Senior Living Raised $1,500 for the Alzheimer’s Association
Fundraising to continue until October 21

Belmont Village Senior Living Thousand Oaks held a 12-hour bike-a-thon called the Bike to End Alzheimer’s Fundraiser using stationary bikes to symbolize the challenging journey those with the disease and their caregivers face every day. Participants rode for 15 minute increments for a minimum donation of $10. The Thousand Oaks team, (pictured l-r) included executive director Bradlee Foerschner and resident Florence Nanas, raised almost $1,500 toward the company’s overall donation to the Alzheimer’s Association. The community will continue to raise funds until the October 21 when the Walk to End Alzheimer’s takes place.
All 24 Belmont Village communities in the U.S. took part in the fundraiser with a company-wide total of $18K raised. 100% proceeds benefit the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®.
