'Affordable Art Show' Coming To Danville
"The Affordable Art Show" runs October 25 through December 17 and all pieces entered in the show will be priced at $199 or less.
DANVILLE, CA — With the idea that art is for everyone, the Town of Danville is presenting its first art exhibition emphasizing affordable pieces. The exhibition, titled "The Affordable Art Show," runs October 25 through December 17 and all pieces entered in the show will be priced at $199 or less.
The exhibition will include a variety of media — paintings, encaustic works on panel, photography, and original sculptures made of marble, fine stone and more.
An opening reception for The Affordable Art Show will be held Oct. 25 from 5-7 p.m. There will be live music, refreshments and a chance to meet the artists and learn about their artwork. The reception is free and open to the public.

The Affordable Art Show takes place at the Village Theatre Art Gallery, 233 Front St. The gallery is open to visitors Wednesday through Friday 12-5 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and an hour before every theatre performance as well as Monday and Tuesday by appointment. The gallery is closed on Sundays. Admission is free.
