
The seventh stage of the Amgen Tour of California will go through parts of Danville Saturday.
The second to last stage of the race will start in Livermore at 11:35 a.m. and will take a 91.7 mile route to Mt. Diablo.
The route takes the cyclists on Camino Tassajara and Blackhawk Road as they head to the summit of Mt. Diablo. The race is expected to go through town some time after 2 p.m.
The race is currently led by American Tejay Van Garderen, who has a 1 minute, 47 second lead over Austrian Michael Rogers.
