Annual AAUW Garden Tour​ Opens Friday In Danville, Alamo

Tour spectacular gardens, and since it's Mother's Day weekend, bring a Mom!

DANVILLE, CA – Five stunner gardens in Alamo and Danville will be featured at the 18th Annual AAUW Garden Tour running Friday and Saturday.

Among the highlights: a sculptor’s garden with basalt rocks and original artwork; a self-described "hoardaculturalist's" garden rooms with diverse plantings; spectacular views and gardens on an acre-sized hill; and another with seating for panoramic views of Mount Diablo.

The tour will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12. Tickets are $40 and are available at East Bay Flower Company at 206 Sycamore Valley Road West in Danville's Livery Shopping Center. Have questions? Email: daw.aauw@gmail.com.

No children under 12, the tour is rain or shine, and the Garden Tour proceeds go toward the AAUW Fund, which provides fellowships and grants to women and nonprofit organizations. The American Association of University Women advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.
