DANVILLE, CA- Danville-area seniors are invited to grab a friend, get outdoors and enjoy one of Danville’s great parks in a whole new way by taking part in the upcoming Bounty Garden and Hap Magee Ranch Park historical walk.
The event is set for Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 10:45 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Beverly Lane, former Mayor of Danville and historian for the San Ramon Valley, will provide an educational tour of Hap Magee Ranch Park, providing insights into the storied past of the property.

After the tour of the park, sit back, relax, and enjoy a picnic lunch provided by the Danville Senior Center.
After lunch, the tour of Hap Magee continues with Kellee Reed from Bounty Gardens. Reed will take attendees on a tour of the garden and share how it is used to feed the hungry in the community. The Bounty Garden is a 100% non-profit program committed to growing and providing a source of fresh vegetables to the local Food Banks of Contra Costa and Solano Counties. The program brings together community volunteers in a fun and friendly environment.

Tour is available to area seniors.
Registration is required, fees are $10 resident/$12 non-resident. Picnic lunch provided. Transportation not included.
