CA Senate District 7 Race: Election Results
Voters in Contra Costa County and Tri-Valley have decided who should serve them in the state senate.
EAST BAY, CA — The polls have closed and voters have decided whether they want incumbent Democrat State Sen. Steve Glazer or Republican Julie Mobley to represent the state's 7th senate district.
The district includes Tri-Valley and most of Contra Costa County, from Martinez to the county borders.

Here's the latest count:
Glazer and Mobley were the top two vote-getters in the March primary. Glazer held the lead with 48 percent of the vote and Mobley came in with 27 percent. Democrat Marisol Rubio came in last place with 24 percent of votes.
