According to reports on KTVU, there was a late morning car fire in Caldecott Tunnel Friday shortly before 10 a.m that shut down the east bore of the tunnel.
Here's a collection of social media posts and Tweets about the fire. Instagram user "kool_kalm_kev" posted a video of people evacuating from the tunnel, while smoke billows out.
