Coroner IDs Danville Motorcyclist Killed In Crash

The motoryclist died after crashing into a bicycle on San Ramon Valley Boulevard.

DANVILLE, CA — The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office Coroner's Division has identified the Danville man killed Nov. 22 in a collision with a bicycle.

Carmen Josephy Seppy, 52, was pronounced dead at the scene after a crash San Ramon Valley Boulevard.

Seppy was heading south, near the Fountain Springs Drive intersection, when a bicyclist riding in the southbound bike lane lost control and fell in front of the motorcyclist, according to a statement from Geoff Gillette, spokesman for the Town of Danville. He struck the bicycle.

The bicyclist reportedly suffered minor injuries in the collision and was transported to San Ramon Regional Medical Center for treatment.
