D.A.M.E Makes its Debut on Saturday, October 5

The Danville Artisans Makers Expo showcases the work of more than 35 artists from Northern California

With shorter days and cooler temperatures settling in, it’s time to get serious about decorating for fall. If you need a dose of inspiration, head to the Veterans Memorial Hall at 400 Hartz Avenue in Downtown Danville Saturday, October 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the Danville Artisans Makers Expo (D.A.M.E.). More than 35 talented artists will display hand-crafted creations that capture the magic of the Autumnal season.

D.A.M.E. attendees will find an eclectic mix of home goods, wearable-art, and Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas keepsakes. For those who like to get a jump start on holiday shopping, this is the place to find something exceptional for that special someone on your list who’s hard to please.

Expo highlights include live demos and raffles throughout the day. Be sure to visit the Danville D.I.Y. studios that are taking part in the festivities. Art on the Lane, A/R Workshop, A Yarn Less Raveled, Cottage Jewel, Danville Yoga and Wellness, GingerLily, Mel’s Place, Pinot’s Palette, The Flower Theory, Village Theatre & Art Gallery, Whim House and Wooden Gate Quilts will be on hand to provide information about their classes and workshops.
