Danville Council Approves Business Grant Program Amid Pandemic
Businesses may apply for up to $5,000 in funding to reimburse pandemic-related expenses.
DANVILLE, CA — Danville businesses may now apply for financial assistance to help cover the cost of COVID-19-related expenses, thanks to a grant program approved Wednesday by the Danville Town Council.
The town council authorized the distribution of $250,000 in grant funds for local, independently owned businesses with Danville business licenses. Business are eligible for up to $5,000 as part of the Forward Focus Business Grant Program, according to the town's website.
Grant funding can reimburse expenses such as marketing, capital projects related to weather and visibility and permits. The town will reimburse recipients 75 percent.
