Danville Gets New Wellness Center: Ayutherapy
Ayutherapy seeks to heal clients through Ayurveda, an ancient system from India.

DANVILLE, CA — Ayutherapy, a Danville wellness center, has opened to serve customers looking for healing through Ayurveda, an ancient healing system with roots in India.
Ayurveda, a natural healing practice that is thousands of years old, is a sister science of yoga and maintains that healing can be achieved when there is a balance between body, mind and spirit, said Dipak Rao of Ayutherapy.
Treatment typically includes internal purification, a diet, herbal medicine, massage therapy, yoga and meditation, according to John Hopkins Medicine.

Owner Archana Rao is a Danville resident who holds a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery and has been practicing for 25 years in India, the United Kingdom and in California. She's worked with patients experiencing depression, digestive issues, weight issues and more, Dipak Rao said.
Ayutherapy offers personalized services for each client, including a complimentary 20-minute consultation and tour of the center, he said.
