Danville Man ID'd As BART Patron Who Died At Walnut Creek Station
Bystanders performed CPR on the man Monday morning, but it was too late.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — A man who died at the Walnut Creek BART station Monday morning was identified today as 60-year-old David Struck of Danville. It appears Struck died of natural causes and his death is not considered suspicious, according to the Contra Costa County coroner's bureau.
BART police responded to reports of a man needing medical attention near a stairway in a paid area of the station at 7:42 a.m., according to BART. They found two BART patrons performing CPR on Struck.
Paramedics arrived and took over CPR, but Struck died at the scene.
