Danville Mayor Morgan Launches Monthly 'Town Talks' Livestream

DANVILLE, CA — Danville Mayor Renee Morgan is launching this week a monthly livestream program dubbed Town Talks.

"The programs are intended to provide a safe way for residents to hear from their community leaders and get up to the minute information on the issues and topics facing Danville," she wrote.

The inaugural episode will kick off 9 a.m. Friday and occur on the first Friday of each month. This week's show will feature an update on COVID-19 vaccines and the response to the coronavirus pandemic with local guests Dr. Ori Tzvieli, county deputy health officer, Paige Meyer, San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District Chief, and Ann Lucena, San Ramon Valley Regional Medical Center CEO.

New topics will be featured each month.

The public may submit questions or ideas by emailing towntalks@danville.ca.gov, Morgan said. Viewers can also ask questions in the chat box and have their questions answered in real-time.
