Female founded non-profit raises over $600,000 amidst pandemic to build Youth Center

Shayna Ronen, the Executive Director of the Danville based non profit I Can Do That! was interviewed on KTVU Channel 2 News this weekend. I Can Do That! is in the process of building a 6,000 square foot Youth Center in Downtown Danville. In this Center, they will be offering expanded performing arts training, community programmings such as karaoke nights, family dance parties, and community outreach as well as wellness programming with mediation, journaling, and anti-bullying classes and workshops. A scholarship program is now in place in order to allow underprivileged youth and families enduring financial hardships to experience the benefits of the Center.
To date I Can Do That! has raised $607,832 of the $750,000 needed to complete this project by the end of the year. I Can Do That! Is still looking for local individuals, businesses, clubs, and foundations who are interested in being a part of this building coming to life. Digital recognition starts at just $500, or they have opportunities to join the tens of families, clubs, and businesses like the Rotary Club of Danville / Sycamore Valley and FOR the Valley to be featured on their Donor Wall starting at $10,000.
