DANVILLE, CA — The town of Danville opened the San Ramon Creek Bridge to the public Tuesday following a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The bridge will connect the Danville Town Green to Diablo Road and the Riverwalk community. The unveiling of the bridge is another step toward the vision of the downtown's plan, said Mayor Renee Morgan at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The town said the bridge will expand options for people traveling without a car. It will allow people to access the park with a shorter commute and without crossing major intersections, and allow easier access to the library and community center.
