Danville Residents Eligible For Annual Compost Giveaway
Register now to get up to 50 gallons of compost at a giveaway next week.
DANVILLE, CA — Danville residents can register now for the RecycleSmart and Republic Services annual compost giveaway.
Residents may bring strong containers such as 5-gallon buckets or cardboard boxes (no bags) to the compost giveaway from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 17. Staff will shovel compost on behalf of guests, according to organizers.
Up to 50 gallons of compost may be claimed.

Anyone who signs up will receive a scheduled time to receive their compost. Show up at a different time and you'll be turned away, according to organizers.
