Danville Restaurants Keep First Responder Bellies Full

Primo's Pizzeria & Pub has created a foundation and teamed up with local restaurants to feed first responders.

DANVILLE, CA — Primo's Pizzeria & Pub in Danville has created a foundation to feed first responders impacted by the new coronavirus, with the help of local restaurants.

Primo's Community Foundation has set up an online crowdfunding campaign through GoFundMe. So far donors have contributed more than $8,000.

Proceeds are used to purchase meals from the "restaurant of the day," or one of several locally and independently owned downtown Danville favorites such as The Peasant & The Pear, Valley Medlyn's and Primo's Pizzeria & Pub, the foundation says on its page.
