Danville Seeking Residents For Commissions

DANVILLE, CA — The town of Danville is seeking volunteers for two- and four-year terms on several commissions, beginning July 1.

The commissions with vacancies include for one member and an alternate on the parks, recreation and arts commission, two spots on the senior advisory commission, a vacancy on the arts advisory board, a licensed architect for the heritage resource commission, a poet laureate, Danville's representative on the Contra Costa Transportation Authority Citizen Advisory Committee, and youth representatives for the arts advisory board and the parks, recreation and arts commission.

The deadline to file an application is 4 p.m. May 12. Applicants have the option of interviewing with the Town Council on June 8 or June 15.
