DANVILLE, CA — The Danville Town Council is walking back some road closures intended to allow businesses to expand outdoors after owners report the experiment didn't go as well as they'd hoped.

Closures from Friday morning through Sunday evening will be lifted from Hartz Avenue from Prospect Avenue to School Street beginning this weekend, the town council decided Wednesday night, according to a news release from the town. Other areas previously closed will remain closed.
