Danville Yoga Studio Offering Free Classes At Grand Opening
YogaSix is welcoming customers indoors after operating an outdoor studio in its parking lot amid the pandemic. Free classes this weekend.
DANVILLE, CA — Danville's YogaSix studio will offer free classes Friday through Sunday as it welcomes yogis indoors for the first time since its soft opening.
YogaSix, an Irvine-based company founded in 2012, opened its 680 San Ramon Valley Blvd. location in August as a bamboo-fenced outdoor studio in its parking lot to comply with COVID-19 safety regulations. The studio said it has since opened indoors after COVID-19-related business restrictions were relaxed June 15 in California, and will host a grand opening celebration Saturday.
“I am so proud of our team that brought this business to life during the pandemic,” said owner Marybeth Thomson in a statement. “We were able to deliver yoga and build a community that helped many get through what was a tough time for us all."

The team includes well-known Danville fitness gurus Tanya Merryman, general manager, and Caramia Tambornino, lead teacher.
"Our mission is to make the mind-body experience of yoga accessible to all, and now that we are fully open indoors, we’re thrilled to continue inviting more residents to come experience YogaSix," Thomson said.
