Earth Day Activities in Danville Saturday
There are going to be a number of Earth Day activities in downtown Danville on Saturday.

From the Town of Danville
Danville residents will have a cornucopia of activities to choose from this weekend as the Town of Danville, along with the Danville Library and area citizens’ groups celebrate Earth Day on Saturday. Festivities kick off at noon at the Town Green, 420 Front Street. Activities for all ages are scheduled between noon and 4 p.m. at various locations and include:
- Noon — Picnic on the Green/ Live Music by OPM
- 12:20 — Mayor’s Welcome
- 1:00 — Art Contest Winners Announced - Village Theater Art Gallery
- 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. — Native and Drought-Tolerant Landscape Presentation – Library
- 2 p.m. — Guided Creek Walk & Talk – East Bay Regional Park District
- 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. — Save Energy at Home Presentation – Community Center
- 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. — Peanuts Naturally Eco-Friendly Craft Stations – Library
- 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. — Mother Earth Story Time – Library
- 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. — Healthy Food Talk
